Hoch auf der Fjell entspringt eine Quelle im Eis. Sprudelnd bahnt sich das Wasser seinen Weg über mächtige Geröllhalden, stürzt eine Felswand hinab ins Tal. Als reißender Fluss voller Felsbrocken und Stromschneller zieht er durch unberührte Wälder an wilden Tieren vorbei, um in der Ebene zum Strom zu werden.
